In the lead-up to the Bally Bet app going live in Tennessee, we wanted to take advantage of our partnership with the Nashville Predators and our leftover bank to create more brand awareness and affinity. So as the Preds made their 2024 playoff run at the end of the season, we came up with an idea—”Goals For Gear.” The premise was that every time the Predators scored a goal during their final home games of the season, we would give away an official Preds jersey to a lucky fan who participated in the giveaway on social.
And it was a huge success! We were able to leverage our push notifications with the team to get fans directly to our posts to engage, and we gave away a ton of jerseys because the Preds just kept scoring. They were on fire. Which was fine with us, because we had $20,000 left in our bank to spend with the team.
In the end, the fans were happy, we gained hundreds of followers, and the Bally Bet name and logo was at the forefront of it all.
