In the lead-up to Super Bowl LVI, my team at Caesars Sportsbook wanted to create content surrounding our first-ever Super Bowl commercial, as a way to build up hype for it. The problem was, we decided to switch commercials at the last-minute, so there wasn’t much time to come up with a rollout plan. During a brainstorm session, a colleague of mine had the thought to show highlights from previous Caesars Sportsbook commercials. So I took that thought and came up with the idea to create an Oceans Eleven-inspired trailer, featuring clips from previous spots and showcasing the star-studded lineup featured in our commercial.
From there, my team and I briefed in our production partner, and worked to put together a tight 30 second trailer to rollout during Super Bowl week. See how it all came together above.
