DICK’S Sporting Goods is an official sponsor of the Little League World Series, and as our client, we were tasked with bringing their 2018 on-site activation to life with engaging experiences for the attendees. Centered around their DICK’S Sporting Goods Park footprint, I led our team’s efforts to create programs and activities that promoted the brand and were memorable/shareable for all. To promote DICK’S Sporting Goods’ official Little League World Series baseball, we created a giant replica ball that attendees could take photos in front of and use as a family meeting place.
We also created a baseball design station to give attendees a chance to customize their very own DICK’S Sporting Goods Little League World Series baseball.
In our Broadcast Booth, fans got the chance to dress up as sportscasters and call the play-by-play of classic moments in Little League World Series history.
We created a custom baseball card station, giving attendees a chance to pose for a picture in a Little League World Series jersey and walk away with their very own DICK’S card!
At our New Era Custom Cap station, we gave attendees a chance to have their choice of heat-sealed patches applied to their Sports Matter hats.
And last but certainly not least, we partnered with MLB to present a virtual reality Home Run Derby experience—wow!
