Between 2017 and 2021, I worked closely with Elliott Wilson's Tidal team to create and curate custom hip-hop playlists—from the idea to the final execution (music selection, song order and write-up)—that help celebrate the culture's most influential artists and moments, past and present. Name a hip-hop artist, and most likely I've created a playlist on Tidal that features their music. One of the highlights was creating playlists for Tidal's Jay-Z: Making of an Icon series. Other published playlists include Tidal’s Evolution series, artist and producer Essentials, Guest Verses, Sampling, Label Focus, Musicology, Soundtracking, Tracks & Traces, and more.
